The team developed a Vissim model to test public realm improvements for the mixed-use redevelopment of this historic music venue.

The modelling was a key aid in gaining planning permission for the conversion of the old theatre site into leisure facilities, shops, flats and a hotel, with outputs and presentation material obtained from the model.

The VISSIM modelling was required to consider the complex interactions between pedestrians and multi-modal traffic at various controlled and uncontrolled crossing sites, as well as to assess potential impacts on proposed junction layouts.
