Joshua Pope, Assistant Engineer
Josh offers CAD support to both the engineering and transport teams. With a can do attitude and willingness to get stuck in whatever the task, Josh is a highly valued member of the PJA team.
Andrea Nelmes, Associate
Andrea is an Associate with over 16 years’ of experience in the water and land development industry. A technical specialist in flood risk, river restoration, drainage strategies including wastewater modelling and SuDS design. She has worked with and advised LLFAs and the EA on Surface Water Flood Risk and Water Resource Management which has provided her with extensive knowledge of the regulatory framework governing the water industry, enabling her to provide responsive, pragmatic advice to clients on a range of multi-disciplinary projects across the UK.
Catriona Swanson, Associate Director
Catriona is an Associate Director in our Manchester office. She has over 12 years’ experience of delivering active travel, sustainable transport, regeneration and placemaking schemes in both the public and private sectors. Catriona’s experience includes network planning and concept design as well as overseeing the detailed design and delivery of schemes. She is particularly passionate about inclusive design and creating Healthy Streets.
Ben Coleman, Associate Director
Ben is an Associate Director and has recently joined our London office. He has over 9 years’ experience of urban planning and transport planning. Ben’s technical experience ranges from initial site analysis and concept design, through to public engagement and detailed design. He has wide ranging experience of developing schemes in both local authority and consultant environments in the UK, and has also worked on international urban planning projects.
Matt Wykes, Consultant
Matt joined the PJA Graduate Development Programme in September 2019 after graduating from the University of Reading with a BSc (Hons) in Geography.
Matt has over 2 year’s experience at PJA and has obtained experience producing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and other technical documents for both public and private sector clients. Building on the knowledge gained from his studies, Matt has also provided technical input into projects using data analysis skills and GIS tools.
Lianne Brook, Principal Consultant
Lianne is a Principal Consultant with over 8 years’ experience in development planning for both the public and the private sector.
Lianne has developed a specialism in cycle infrastructure design and assists clients by offering sustainable transport advice and works to promote active travel within development schemes. Lianne has been involved with the delivery of training for the LTN 1/20 guidance and has been part of the team to develop the new Active Travel Act guidance for the Welsh government.
Lianne works regularly to support clients to progress schemes through local plan promotion, planning application, S106 negotiations and where necessary, appeal. Lianne also has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation including with Local Planning Authorities, local businesses, political stakeholders and residents groups.
Jane Overton, Principal Consultant
Jane is a Principal Consultant, who joined the team in 2019. She has over 5 years’ experience working for a range of public and private sector clients primarily in development planning, but also in scheme appraisal, travel planning and transport modelling.
Jane’s key skills include junction modelling, accessibility analysis and travel demand forecasting to support the preparation of Transport Assessments and other technical documents for a range of developments including residential, education and employment land uses.
Barney Irlam, Principal Engineer
Barney is a Principal Engineer with 7 years’ of experience working on a range of geotechnical, remediation and reclamation development projects.
Julio Manchon Campillo, Senior Consultant
Julio is a Senior Consultant, based in our London office, with 3 years’ consultancy experience in masterplanning and transport planning projects.
After completing the MSc Urban Strategies and Design at the University of Edinburgh, Julio developed an interest and expertise in relation to urbanism and the links between transport and mobility and urban design.
