Tell us what you do at PJA
I’m a Senior Consultant in the Transport Planning team in PJA’s Bristol Office. I support the team day-to-day in all aspects of development planning including through local plan promotion, planning applications, discharging conditions and appeal, when necessary. My experience includes successfully delivering schemes for private and public sector clients in fields such as residential, healthcare, education, defence, renewable energy and large mixed-use developments.
What’s your career path so far?
After graduating from the University of Gloucestershire in 2015 with a degree in BSc (Hons) Geography, I started as a Graduate Transport Planner at Curtins. I later continued my career at Tetra Tech/WYG, before recently joining PJA in January 2022.
What do you enjoy when you’re not working?
Trying out all the great restaurants that Bristol has to offer with friends and family, as well as the usual music, theatre, tv and film. In my spare time, I enjoy doing crafts such as crochet, embroidery and painting. I’m also excited to travel again and am looking at trips back to the US, Italy and Spain in the near future.
Are you a dog or cat person?
Dog person 100%! My family has a 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Peanut.
What are you currently reading or listening to?
I’m currently reading Dave Grohl’s The Storyteller and I’m usually always listening to music with quite an eclectic taste including musicals, motown, rock, pop and anything from the 1970s.
Claim to fame?
My uncle played Rugby Union for Scotland, the Barbarians and on two British and Irish Lions tours.
