Our fast-growing Manchester office has welcomed two new team members and moved to a bigger office as it celebrates its second year in the city.

Transport planning specialist Eddie Jackson has joined as Associate and Senior Engineer Matt Shanly has relocated from our Birmingham office.

The new space, located in Hilton Square in the Northern Quarter, is close to public transport links with the cities main rail, bus and metrolink interchanges within a five-minute walk.

Chris Sibthorpe, Director of the Manchester office, said: “I couldn’t be more proud of the team here in Manchester. Since we launched in June 2020, our office has gone from strength to strength in what have been really challenging circumstances.

“We made a conscious decision when restrictions were eased to encourage hybrid working and having face to face contact has had a hugely positive impact on creativity and the team’s energy levels whilst still maintaining the flexibility that working from home provides.

“We’re working on some thought-provoking transport planning, engineering and placemaking projects from town centre masterplanning to helping shape national walking and cycling guidance and successfully assisting clients in bidding for funding.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this year as a team of eight. Working in a vibrant part of the city and in the collaborative and supportive environment we have, the opportunities for further growth here in Manchester are really exciting.”
