Following his second-place finish at the Midland Cross Country Championships in Mansfield, PJA’s Jack Gray was selected to run for the England Cross Country team in Diest, Belgium.
The Diest Cross Cup is an international cross country race that attracts the best runners from across Europe. The race is 10km long and includes mud, sand and even the odd hurdle.
The race has a notoriously fast and rough start (think sharp elbows!) as runners vie to establish a position at the front of the pack. Jack battled hard through the field to finish in an excellent 12th place.
This trip was Jack’s 10th senior England cap and thus represents a significant milestone in his sporting endeavours. PJA is extremely proud of Jack, and actively encourage our employees to pursue excellence both in and out of the workplace.
